Ben closes out this plaid-crazy episode with a classic talking head: “Yeah, she died like twenty minutes after that. Not even plaid could save her.”

Part of that might have been from a deleted scene. In my mind.

Elsa Clack, proprietor of The Quiet Corn, also believes in the power of plaid. And cats. And German muffins.

Not only did Ben not bring a tent, he apparently also didn’t pack any clothes, because this is the same plaid he wore camping. His motto: “All you need is plaid.”

Ann gets in the mix with a jaunty plaid scarf.

Leslie brought a plaid pillow too. If only they sold plaid tents…

Tom is one of the only plaid regulars who doesn’t wear any this episode, but he makes up for it in pillows.

Andy declares his undying love for plaid.

This plaid is meant to blend in with nature. Except nature will never be as beautiful as plaid, so it doesn’t quite work.

Even nameless extras just passing in the foreground wear plaid.

Note that this is already the sixth plaid of the episode and we haven’t even gotten to the camping/plaid orgy yet.

Ben wore this exact ensemble not long ago, but honestly it’s beautiful enough that he could get away with wearing it daily.
